Marc Hébrart Mes Favorites 1er Cru NV | Grande Vallée, Champagne
"Mes Favorites" - My Favorites. It's a disarmingly personal name for a Champagne, and that's exactly the point. This cuvée is Marc Hébrart's love letter to the plots he cherishes most across his 1er Cru vineyards in the Grande Vallée de la Marne. No single-vineyard statement, no prestige positioning, just a winemaker sharing what brings him the most joy, vintage after vintage. The result is generous, warm, and instantly likeable.
About Marc Hébrart: Based in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Marc Hébrart is one of the Grande Vallée's most respected grower-producers. With vineyards spanning both the Marne valley and the Côte des Blancs, he has access to exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and a talent for blending them into wines of real character and precision.
Appearance: Bright golden yellow with a fine, persistent mousse and elegant bubbles.
Winemaking & Aging: A non-vintage blend assembled from Hébrart's personally selected 1er Cru parcels in the Grande Vallée. Predominantly Pinot Noir with Chardonnay, aged on the lees for complexity and depth before disgorgement.
Country / Region / Grapes / ABV: France / Grande Vallée de la Marne, Champagne / Pinot Noir 75% & Chardonnay24% / ~12.5% ABV
Tasting Note: Generous and inviting, with ripe yellow apple, fresh brioche, and a hint of honey on the nose. The palate is full and rounded with creamy bubbles, notes of peach, nougat, and a fresh citrus finish that keeps things lively. A crowd-pleaser with real substance beneath the charm.
Primary Flavors: Yellow apple, brioche, honey, peach, nougat, citrus
Food Pairing: Roasted chicken, creamy pasta, soft cheeses, smoked salmon blinis, or just a good time with friends. This is the Champagne you open when you want everyone to be happy.
Fun Fact: The Grande Vallée de la Marne is the stretch of the Marne river between Épernay and Tours-sur-Marne, home to some of Champagne's finest 1er Cru villages. It's Pinot Noir country at its best, producing wines with richness, structure, and a distinctly generous character.
